
Anees Fatma is an architect whose work is informed by material research and tectonic exploration. She completed her Bachelor of Architecture at Mody University and went on to pursue a Master’s in Architecture Tectonics at CEPT University.
Her time working in Auroville shaped her interest in sustainable building practices and natural construction systems, where she gained hands-on experience with earth and other low-impact materials. She has also contributed to structural research on bamboo systems as a Research Assistant at IIT Bombay, deepening her engagement with material-led design.
Since joining Play Architecture, Anees contributes to ongoing architectural research and project development, bringing a thoughtful and material-sensitive approach to contemporary tectonic practice.
